Reminder: Spiritual Singles mixer at IMC in Redwood City, Sat. 1/31/04

Folks:

 

I posted this a couple of weeks ago, so I am posting this reminder

so you don't forget about it. The event is this Saturday night, with

the vegetarian potluck starting at 6:00. It is being held at the

Insight Meditation Center, home of the local Insight Meditation

sangha, a (Buddhist) Vipassana group.

 

While the potluck is vegetarian, this event is open to various groups

whose members are not necessarily vegetarian. I don't know whether

they will separate the vegan items; if you are having difficulty finding

appropriate fare, talk with Nicole or myself. If necessary we might be able

to locate the cooks of certain items whose vegan-ness is under question.

From 101:

    * Take Whipple exit.

    * Go west. Turn left on El Camino Real (south).

    * Make the first right onto Hopkins.

    * The center is located at the corner of Birch and Hopkins.

From 280:

    * Take Farm Hill exit and go east. Farm Hill becomes Jefferson.

    * Turn left on El Camino Real (north).

    * Turn left on Hopkins.

    * The center is located at the corner of Birch and Hopkins.

 

PARKING INSTRUCTIONs

 

Please reserve spaces in our Center's parking lot and immediately adjacent to the Center for those in need.

The parking lot kitty corner from the Center (Manzo Dental on Hopkins ) is open to our members for parking on evenings and weekends.

The large lot behind 160 Birch (next to the VA center at 2946 Broadway) is available to us for parking on Sundays ONLY.

Please do not park in any of the other professional office parking lots. Ample street parking is available.
