Guest guest
Hello All: This is a notice to save the 14th of February for a potluck in Alameda. This potluck is in conjunction with the East Bay Vegetarians and also the San Francisco Vegetarian Society. It is held at a private home on the ocean and is a potluck not to be missed. Bring your dancing shoes and serious, unusual vegan entrees (no Whole Foods deli foods or Fritos). These are held approximately 6 times a year and are a great opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the Bay Area and sample outrageous foods. If you prefer to go boating, there is a dock with a paddle boat. Usually everyone finishes eating by 7 or 8 PM and then dances in the dance pavilion on the property. All ages and backgrounds seem to participate, though no children have ever been sighted by me. If carpooling is desired, we can arrange for it. I can take one other person, and perhaps others can volunteer use of their vehicles. Call or email me (verdant1) for more information. The food at these potlucks rivals Herbivore and Millenium in variety and sophistication. Lets make a strong showing on behalf of southbay veggies.
