carpool to Orinda

Hello, we already have a number of great events around Tofurky day here,

but if for whatever reason you want to go to the event in Orinda (in my case

it's the number of cats in the house ), we can carpool - I have a nice

7-passenger van. Let me know by e-mail. I want to leave from South Bay at

3pm.

Thanksgiving Vegan Food Party & Celebration Host/Email Brian / Brenda

Host Notes

Brian and I would love to host a Vegan Thanksgiving Day Feast at our

home. We can accomodate about 20 people comfortably. We have 7 cats, so we

will have to send out a high allergy alert. Parking is pretty easy on the

street in front of the house, but we are in a (woodsy) subdivision and it

would be nice if folks would carpool so we don't have too many cars in front

of all the neighbors houses as they may have guests of their own. There is a

large deck and a creek that runs year round off the back of the house. We

see a lot of deer and other forest creatures here. It will be nice to share

all of this with other animal-loving veggie folks.

We will provide Tofurky, potatoes and gravy (as well as a few other

extras). So, we will need attendees to provide vegetable dishes, desserts,

and wine if you would like. Also, everyone will need to bring their own

plates and bowls as we will probably not have enough for everyone. And,

please RSVP ASAP with the number of people and type of food you will bring

so we can plan to accomodate everyone. No one will be turned away (RSVP or

no) but the quality and quanitity of the amenities will be best if we can

plan ahead a little.
