many vegetarians (and turkeys!) have little reason to celebrate.

Please join us in celebrating our life-affirming dietary choice by

attending the SBVS 1ST ANNUAL VEGETARIAN THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION

on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2003, from 5:30-9:00 PM,

at one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the South Bay area--

at Di Lac Vegetarian Cuisine, 1644 East Capitol Expressway,

San Jose, California 95121. [www.dilac.com]

 

Schedule:

 

5:30-6:30 PM: Pre-Dinner Social Hour

(non-alcoholic beverages available on a cash bar basis;

alcoholic beverages can be made available with advance

notification to the restaurant)

 

6:30-8:00 PM: 5-Course Vegan Buffet Dinner

 

8:00-9:00 PM: Dessert Social Hour

$15.00 if received at SBVS mailbox NO LATER than SATURDAY, 11/1/2003.

 

$20.00 if received at SBVS mailbox NO LATER than SATURDAY, 11/15/2003.

 

$25.00 if received at SBVS mailbox NO LATER than SATURDAY, 11/22/2003.

 

> After 11/22/2003, new reservations will cost $30.00 and will ONLY be

available on the basis of the cancellation of a prior reservation.

 

(Note: The additional costs incurred due to late respondents is for

the restaurant having to prepare food beyond what was planned.)

 

Capacity: 80 people maximum--firm!

Be sure to include your name, a mailing address, and a daytime

phone number on the check or money order. If you would like a

confirmation that SBVS has received your payment, please include an

e-mail address as well. If you do not have an e-mail address, then

indicate that you would like to receive your confirmation by phone.

Finally, make sure to indicate the names of the individuals for whom

you are making a reservation, and to include the proper amount of

payment for all the individuals in your party.
