World Veg Day Oct. 4th in Golden Gate Park --carpooling

I'm organizing carpooling to the World Vegetarian Day Fest in SF on Oct. 4th.

Let's meet at my place (525 Lynwood Ave, Mtn. View) at 8:30am. We'll depart at 8:45 sharp, in order to get to Golden Gate park by the 10 o'clock opening.

 

I prefer to drive to a Bart Station (say Millbrae, or Daly City), park there so as not to deal with city parking and traffic. I doubt we would find free parking in the city that late in the morning, unless anyone knows better! Any thoughts on that? Is there an easy way to use public trans to get from Mountain View to a Bart station now that Caltrain doesn't run on the weekend?

 

I'll send out another reminder during the week so we can firm up plans.
