Guest guest
Sorry, my first try at posting this had attachments and therefore didn't work well with . Here's another try. I should mention that this is being posted to a number of spiritual groups (srsingles, bayareabuddhistsingles, exploringspiritualpartnership), and while the proportion of vegetarians in these groups is pretty high, there will be non-vegan and there may even be non-vegetarian dishes at the potluck. In this change of seasons and amidst what appears to be a state of perpetual war, this event provides a calm space in which to reflect and meditate for a while, focus on bringing peace to the world, and meet with others having the same interest. Feel free to bring a friend or relative and join us on this Sunday evening. The event will be our third meeting in the Unitarian Universalist Church in Palo Alto at 505 East Charleston, between Alma Street and Middlefield Road, in the Fireside Room next to the main hall. For those of you not familiar with this location, the exit driveway from the church is the stoplight on East Charleston at Nelson Drive, one block west of Middlefield Road. The driveway entrance is about 150 feet west of the exit and is marked by a lighted sign. The program from 7:00 to 9:00 PM includes meditation and Dances of Universal Peace, with refreshments at the end. Chairs are available for the meditation, but you may bring a pillow to sit on, if you prefer.
