Reminder: Equinox Potluck Saturday

Time to plan your weekend. RSVP Email responses preferred! Just let

me know you are coming. No need to coordinate food. That is what a

potluck is, after all. Maybe we'll have all desserts! Yumm!

 

What: Outdoor Fall Equinox Potluck and Hot tub Gathering

 

When: Saturday, September 20, 4 PM until 10 PM.

 

Who: Paula Rochelle (South Bay Vegetarian)

 

Where: The backyard at 18980 Lynbrook Court, Saratoga, near Prospect

and Lawrence Expwy. Directions at the end of this invite.

 

To Bring: Vegan or vegetarian dish (if any animal products are

present please label the dish). If you don't like to cook please

consider buying an item from a place such as Trader Joe's or Whole

Foods. Vegan sushi, fruit, vegan desserts such as vegan cookies, soy

or rice ice cream or other vegan snacks highly suggested/recommended.

Whole Foods also has a vegan salad bar and a vegan prepared foods

section.

 

To Bring #2: A towel and your hot tub clothes. Tub can be clothing

optional upon the agreement of all immersed. Be forewarned. Good

Vibes a must :-)

 

To Bring #3: A jacket! The evening can be cool.

 

I'll Supply: The yard, the hot tub, beer, wine, soda, all eating

utensils and a main dish. Futons available for those unable to drive

home.

Directions: From the North:

Take 280 South to Hwy 85 South. Exit at DeAnza Blvd. (aka Saratoga

Sunnyvale Road).

 

Turn right at the end of the offramp. Go 1/2 mile to Prospect Road.

(Land mark: Shell Gas Station on near left corner.)

 

Turn left on Prospect. Go 1 and 3/4 mile on Prospect to Brookglen.

(Land mark: Big wooden sign says Brookview. Beware! There are three

streets on the right that have the same wooden sign. Brookglen is the

last one with that sign. If you miss it, you will be at Prospect High

School and need to turn around.)

 

Turn right on Brookglen. Go 1/8 mile to Lynbrook Court.

 

Turn left on Lynbrook Court. 18980 is the second house on the right

behind the bushes.

 

From the South: Take 280 North to Saratoga Avenue exit. Follow signs

to Saratoga (not Santa Clara).

 

Take Saratoga Avenue 3 miles to Prospect. (Landmark: Westgate

Shopping Center on the left, Bank of American on the right.)

 

Turn right on Prospect. Go through 3 intersections with stop lights.

 

Turn left on Brookglen, the first left into a residential area.

(Landmark: Big wooden sign says Brookview.) Go 1/8 mile to Lynbrook

Court.

 

Turn left on Lynbrook Court. 18980 is the second house on the right

behind the bushes.
