SBVS Resaurant Visit Reminder:

WHO: Any SBVS members

WHAT: Veggie and Vegan food

WHEN: Saturday 6th Sept 7:30pm [Tomorrow!]

WHERE: Joy Meadow Restaurant Redwood City

HOW: Take Whipple exit west off US 101, turn onto Whipple and go about five

blocks on Whipple across the train tracks and turn LEFT on El Camino Real,

two blocks South on El Camino Real to Brewster. Joy Meadow is on the corner

of Brewster and El Camino. Use street parking or try the lot 1 block east

on Brewster & Perry St. (LEFT turn from El Camino Real), behind Joy Meadow

and some other buildings.

I've had no positive RSVPs so far. I'll be there though anyway. Here's the

Hi South Bay Veggies!

I've decided to host a visit to Joy Meadow restaurant in Redwood City, which

while not the most vegetarian restaurant in the area (they do chicken and

fish too) it is not very often mentioned, very close to my house and some of

the dishes are very worth it. Please RSVP me by e-mail

<sifakamon if you wish to attend before Friday night so I can

make sure the restaurant can acommodate us. I suggest we start at 7:30 pm.

Joy Meadow's menu is about half vegetarian most of that is vegan. You can

section of the menu. Do not overlook the Tibetian Temple Salad! It is my

favourite dish and is very filling...
