Guest guest
Dear all, I am planning a trip to Las Vegas for the weekend of August 8 through August 10. I already have a few people who have expressed strong interest in going. Please let me know if you're interested in this kind of a trip. We will have a planning meeting to discuss further details later this month. The trip would not be as complex as it seems. We would all fly in on the same day on what ever airline we choose. We would agree in advance roughly what time and what hotel we would like to arrive at. This can easily be done through a travel agent or an online service such as Expedia or Priceline. Airport shuttles will take you to every major casino or hotel on the strip. Once there we simply will meet at a preselected location in our hotel. We can then exchange room numbers and call each other during the trip to set things up as the trip goes on. Getting around a Las Vegas is very easy. You can either walk, take a taxi, or take one of the free buses. If we feel we need to explore outside the strip area we can easily rent a car and split the cost. I know a lot of people are hurting financially but this would not be a costly trip. If you don't gamble or see any shows the trip is very inexpensive. The only real costs are the plane fare and hotel -- which you can get for very cheap -- and then going to the buffets. Just keep your gambling to a minimum and don't spend too much money on drinks, souvenirs and you'll be fine. Regards, Dave Pearl 408-554-1187tantraguy2002 SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! Guest guest
Hi! I am not going to be able to make the trip due to a trip planned for Vegas next weekend. However I do have a question that I hope someone can help me with. This will be my first trip to Vegas as a Vegan and I have absolutely no idea where to eat. If anyone can give me any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Eating vegetarian is not a problem but I fear trying to get vegan food will be. Thank you in advance Vivian , Dave Pearl <tantraguy2002> wrote: > Dear all, > I am planning a trip to Las Vegas for the weekend of August 8 through August 10.
