Guest guest
Thanks to an astute r, I've rechecked the charts and learned that I can't tell military time. :| So according to the data below from US Naval Observatory Astronomical Applications Department, sunset is scheduled for 8:30pm and moonrise is scheduled for 9:03pm. Given this new data, I've decided to push the schedule back by 30 minutes. Meet at the trailhead at 7:30 and we'll begin our ascent at 7:45PM. We should reach the summit around 8:45 - 9 PM. Bring water, something warm to wear at the peak, a snack, and a flashlight for the descent.
