IMC Dharma Friends' July 13 Singles' Brunch

Here's an invitation to a Singles' brunch after morning meditation

and dharma talk at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City

(a group of Buddhist in the Vipassana (Insight) tradition.

 

The brunch is not exclusively vegetarian, but with its Buddhist

base, is largely vegetarian. Brunch is at 11:15, after a morning of

meditation (sitting and walking) starting at 8;30, culminated with

a dharma talk from 10:00 to 10:45. You are welcome to all or part.

Please join us for the July 13 installment of our "Every Second Sunday

Singles' Brunch." This time (and August 10 and September 14), the location

will be Alana's Cafe, 1020 Main Street in RWC. The directions on the back of

the flyers on the IMC table are a little misleading, so from the IMC:

 

•Go south on El Camino (2-3 blocks) and turn left on Broadway.

•Stay on Broadway, which means turning/bearing right onto Broadway when

Arguello splits off to the left (after crossing the RR tracks).

•Stay on Broadway for about 4-5 blocks and turn right on Main. A couple of

blocks after Main crosses Middlefield, Alana's will be on your right, as

will a parking lot on the corner, before the cafe.

 

To carpool, caravan, and/or check in with the group, meet at the IMC kitchen

corner after the Dharma Talk, at around 11:15 a.m.

(If you would please bring tens/fives/ones in cash, that would help the

person paying the single bill. Cost should be around $12-$15.)
