Guest guest
Hi all, I'm posting this for fellow southbayveggie member, Laurie Tannenbaum. She's playing a jazz gig at Mr Toot's coffee shop in Capitola Village. This is a great place to see some live music and the cost can't be beat -- FREE! She will be playing with her band from 8pm to 11pm so come when you can and stay as long as you wish. Mr Toot's is at 221 Esplanade in Capitola on the corner of Capitola Ave and Esplanade. Mapquest's directions (I've checked) will get you lost. Your best bet is to take 880/17 south to 1 south and exit Bay/Porter. Make a right onto Bay Avenue at the end of the ramp. Continue on Bay, a block or two past Nob Hill Foods, and make a slight right on to Capitola Avenue at the big intersection. Continue into the village and take a left on to Monterey at the end of Capitola Avenue. At the top of the hill you will see Capitola Village parking on the left (or just make a left at the stop sign on the top of the hill.) Park. From the parking lot, walk back down Monterey past Capitola Avenue to the movie theater and make a left onto the Esplanade. At the end of Esplanade on the left side of the street is Mr Toot's on the 2nd floor of the corner building. They have rebuilt the place so maybe there is a first floor entrance now. I'm not sure. I haven't been there since the rebuild. Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting at Dharma's for dinner at 7pm.
