I'm hosting a Southbayveg event this Friday in Santa

Cruz with Terry Gilliam and Johnny Depp.

 

Meet at the legendary Saturn Cafe

(http://www.saturncafe.com) for dinner at 7 pm. Enjoy

a movie (Lost In La Mancha) featuring Terry Gilliam

and Johnny Depp at another Santa Cruz landmark, The

Nickelodeon (http://www.thenick.com), at 9:20 pm.

 

For those of you concerned about driving back from

Santa Cruz late Friday night, the movie is 93 minutes

and you are welcome to crash at my place afterwards if

you'd prefer not to make that drive.

 

The Nick can and does sell out so please RSVP no later

than Friday at 5pm so I can pre-buy tickets. For you

committment-phobes, you're welcome to drop on by and

take your chances at the box office without an RSVP.

A note about Santa Cruz: Park at one of the garages

or lots downtown (there's a lot on Cedar or behind

Logo's that's very close to The Nick) and walk to

Saturn. It will be a lot easier to find parking

before dinner than after.
