This is one of 3 presentations that SF Bay Area Vegetarians has organized

featuring Dr. Michael Greger. I'm only posting details for the Mountain

3/2 Sunday - Mountain View

Dinner & Lecture with Dr. Michael Greger, one of the best veg*n speakers,

will lecture on " CORPORATE GLOBALIZATION: TRADING AWAY OUR RIGHT TO PROTECT

ANIMALS. " Dr. Greger will share his research about how global trade

agreements and institutions such as GATT, NAFTA, and the World Trade

Organization (WTO) have affected animals. This is a riveting and

thought-provoking talk, infused with vast historical background and even

humor, about what may be the greatest threat ever posed to animal

protection.

 

Dinner: An experienced professional gourmet chef, specializing in

Macrobiotic, Vegetarian and Vegan meals, James Holloway is best know as the

often guest chef for the Penisula Macrobiotic Society. James will be

preparing a home-cooked 4-course Vegan meal for us.

 

Come meet & mingle with Dr. Greger and friends starting at 5 pm, Dinner at

5:30 pm, Presentation at 7 pm. All net proceeds to benefit Dr. Michael

Greger on his national speaking tour. Cost is a sliding scale donation of

$20 to $30 per person for vegan dinner, dessert and presentation by our

guest of honor, Dr. Greger. For presentation only, $5. Location: 777 West

Middlefield Rd., Mountain View, CA. Limited to first 30 folks. Reserve your
