Guest guest
After you attend the anti-valentines day party, cheer up and come to the funniest animal related play to hit the stage. Sylvia is a comedy about a New Yorker in mid-life crisis who brings home a stray dog. He names her Sylvia and she takes over the house and his affection chewing a hole in his marriage. The New York Times calls the play " delicious and dizzy...a hysterical comedy' " The great thing is that $5.00 of each ticket purchased for February 16 goes to In Defense of Animals' Project Hope in Mississippi. It's a wonderful sanctuary that confiscates mistreated and neglected animals - dogs, cats, horses, chickens, pigs. They even have a hamster. The price of the ticket is $20.00 and the play is at: City Lights, 529 S. Second St., San Jose. You can purchase a ticket by mailing $20.00 (check made out to City Lights) to Judy Jones, P.O. Box 8136, San Jose, CA 95155. Tickets will be mailed to you. There's a limited number of seats reserved so we need your reservation asap. OH, also we'll be raffling off a beautiful sweatshirt designed and painted by Diane Watt. A free raffle ticket comes with each theatre tick purchase. You need to be present to win. For further information call 408-286-8577 or email me at: animals. Judy Jones
