Posting Events to the Website/Listserve

Dear All,

Please make sure that if you are hosting an event that all pertinent details are sent well in advance to our webmaster at: dinaheruty

As far as notifying the listserve regarding your event we suggest you post about 7 days before the event and again 2-3 days before. An exception is something like an overnight trip or an event which requires reservations and/or advance notice. In both cases you'll want to post weeks or months in advance.

Lastly, always ask for RSVP's and a cute off date that you'll accept RSVP's by..This forces folks to make a decision whether or not to attend, lets you know know how many people will be attending your event, and is a courtesy that your guests should extend to you.
