Guest guest
Hello A while back someone posted about planning a trip--- it may have been to Italy? Somewhere in Europe, I think. The post was in regard to wanting help with telling resturaunt staff of need for veg food. (Sorry if I am not saying quite the same thing as the post said....) Okay, well I have found my " veg travel cards " . I bought these a couple of years ago, hoping I would need them for travel. It is a set of little cards that say relevant stuff. Each card is in a different language. The set I have is " vegan " phrases. The company that makes them (listed below) also has a " lacto " set and a " lacto ovo " set. TVT P.O. Box 410205 Cambridge, MA 02141 I don't know what TVT stands for, and I don't remember how much I paid, but it seems a handy thing to have. Actually the cards don't say everything I would want to say. I remember reading an article by a veg traveler who had a card made up that said something like " I am vegetarian. I do not eat any meat, fish, seafood, chicken...[etc]. Please bring me a dish that you would recommend. Thank you. " The cards I have specify in detail what foods are NOT vegan. But it doesn't say " please bring me something you recommend " I'd bet you would get some great food that way.
