Vegetarian Halloween party: How to Get To Denis' Place

It's been brought to my attention that I should have

given detailed instructions on how to get to my place.

D'OH!

Here goes.

 

BEFORE YOU GO:

check that you're:

a) carpooling if possible

b) bringing food and drink if you like

c) wearing a costume, or at least wearing your pants

backwards

 

GETTING HERE:

-Take 101 to the Holly Street exit

-At the Holly Street exit frontage road, take the

Redwood Shores Parkway exit.

** If you wind up on Holly Street itself, simply do a

180-degree turn and continue. You'll pass over 101, at

which point Holly Street morphs into Redwood Shores

Parkway

-Continue up Redwood Shores Parkway past a couple of

stoplights (2 or 3), then past a couple of stop signs

(3 or 4)

-You will want to take a Left onto Avocet Drive.

** You'll know you're at Avocet because you'll be at a

stopsign, with a fire station on your right

-Avocet Drive is a tiny little street with a

roundabout in the center. My apartment complex,

'HARBORSIDE APARTMENTS', is on the RIGHT as you come

in.

 

My building number is #7; my apartment, on the 2nd

floor of building #7, is Apt. 202.

 

PARKING:

You can park in any uncovered spot in my apartment

complex or the next-door complex (opposite side of the

roundabout). There's typically more parking available

in the next-door complex.

If worst comes to worst and you can't find anything,

park on the curb in a red zone and come to my door.

I'll take you to a hard-to-find and slightly

inconvenient but perfectly useable parking spot.

 

WORST-CASE SCENARIO:
