Hi all,

The best theater group in the area, TheatreWorks, will be giving a

FREE performance of the excellent " Ragtime " , a musical play about two

African-American families in the early 20th century, challenging

discrimination. My mom saw the play on Broadway and loved it.

The musical is on Tuesday night the 3rd of September, starting at

8:00 p.m. People line up to get in (it is the final " full dress

rehearsal " performance before opening night on Saturday) and usually

everyone who comes to the 620 seat theater is accomodated. They seat

people at about 7:55 or 8:00. It's on Castro street in Mountain View

at the nearly brand spankin' new theater.

I will get there and line up around 7:15-7:30 and welcome all who

want to join me. I have seen about 15-20 of TheatreWorks

performances, and I am really dazzled by the wizardry of their

craft. They are consistently amazing, and it's a great opportunity

to see them perform for FREE.

RSVP to me Michael_Goldberger or just show up. I'm the

short one with the dark cropped hair (most of the theatergoers will

be in their 60s or above). I don't have the SBVeggies sign but I

think Sarah and Denis are coming and Sarah might have the sign.
