A recent study stated that we think 90,000 thoughts, at least60,000 of which we thought yesterday!!We live in a culture and time where we are immersed and consumedby our thinking and mental world. At the Gathering of Spiritual Friends on June 28th, we will lookat the role our thoughts play in our lives, and how unconsciousthought patterns, beliefs and views dominate our lives (inBuddhist parlance this is called Papanca - mentalproliferation). In particular we will look at how our thinkingpatterns interfere with our ability to relate to others. We willapproach this all pervasive theme - PLAYFULLY, with exercises,discussion and inquiry in order to free ourselves from theburden of our thoughts - and to bring greater ease in ourrelationship to ourselves and others.Please join Mark Coleman and like-minded singles on Friday, June28th, at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, from 7:30 PM to10:00 PMfor an evening of connecting with one another and playing withour thoughts.
