Guest guest
Hey. A couple of announcement. Some of you know I'm a regular volunteer at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley, and a few of you are even interested in volunteering yourselves - which is super great! I wanted to let you all know that on Sat. June 15, the Center is having its 7th annual Open House - this is the one and only day of the year that the public is allowed in to see the animals and how we work with them. There will also be silent auctions on artwork and stuff, snacks and drinks, tours, lectures, and wildlife shows - in the past, this event has been VERY fun and informative! If you're interested in volunteering or becoming a member, you can certainly learn about that, too! For information about location (it's in Penetencia Creek Park in San Jose), or background information about what the Center does, see http://www.wcsv.org. The other thing I want to shamelessly promote is the play I'm going to be in at the end of June - 6/29 at 3 and 8 and 6/30 at 3. The play is mostly Chinese, but my small-but-meaty part is in English. And there will be English subtitles througout. This is also in San Jose - at the Mexican Heritage Plaza at 1700 Alum Rock. I will get you ticket information when I find out myself - this is another chance to be social and stuff, and you'll also be supporting Asian American theater! Thanks, and good night!
