Apology and thoughts

First, let me say that my last post was a mistake. I meant to send it

to Mayumi only, not the entire group. I'm sorry for that.

 

Secondly, I appreciate the need for proper netiquette, and I

especially appreciate Dave's work to improve this, but now . . . I

feel a little scared to post ANYTHING on this mailing list. I guess

I'm a little confused because I've yet to see much that IS irrevelant

to the entire group, except for those complaints that say everything

is too irrelevant. And my message to Mayumi, but like I said, it was

an honest mistake.

 

The last thing I want to do is cause conflict or make people

angry . . . but it seems to me that when you sign up for a mailing

list . . . well, then you should expect to get a little extra e-mail,

and everyone can do their best, but you should also expect a tiny

amount of mail that may not be of interest to you in particular. I

understand the annoyance of having a cluttered mailbox, but nobody's

forcing anybody to be on this list. If a isn't someone's

style, I'd suggest they arrange to get their group info by some other

means.

 

All I really want here is for as many people to be happy as

possible.
