Posting Protocol, membership editing, and unsubscribing

Dear All,

As the group moderator I have taken a hands-off approach to the group to encourage free expression. After complaints regarding a few significant issues I must make the following requests:

1.) Replying to the entire listserve. Only do this when absolutely necessary. Otherwise post only to those individual(s) who need to see your reply. Otherwise this listserve will become overloaded with emails and we will have members wanting to leave the group !

2.) To limit the number of emails to one a day go to: /, select "Edit Membership", then select "Daily Digest".

3.) To to this listserve click on the option at the end of any email from this group or go to: /mygroups, choose Edit My Groups , and then select the "Leave Group" option.

Please do not hesitate me directly via tantraguy2002 should you have any other questions or concerns.

Please follow the above requests so we can make the South Bay Vegetarian Community a growing and vibrant community where all are welcome and feel at home.

This *is* to everyone since I have yet to see this information yet. When

you do a " reply to sender " only, the " sender " is

. This a list problem common to many

lists. I don't know if Dave can do anything about it, but you can.

Before you do " reply " , go the message header. Find the email address of

the person who sent the message and to whom you want to reply. Highlight

that email address with your mouse and do <ctrl>C (copy). Then, do

" reply to sender " . In the " send to " box of your email, do <ctrl>V

(paste). That will put the desired address where you want it. Then,

delete . It may sound complicated, but

it's actually quite easy once you get used to it.

P.S. For those of you posting messages to the list, it may also be

helpful to put your email address in the body of your message since some

may have a hard time figuring out the header.
