Guest guest Posted October 9, 2003 Report Share Posted October 9, 2003 Potato Candy Source: Patsy 1/4 cup hot mashed potato (plain) 1 tsp. melted margarine 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 1/2 cup coconut dash of salt 1/4 tsp. grated lemon or orange rind 1/2 tsp. vanilla food coloring (opt.) Combine potatoes and margarine. Beat in sugar until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Drop by teaspooonsfuls on waxed paper. Set until firm. Store in tightly covered container.
