Guest guest Posted September 19, 2003 Report Share Posted September 19, 2003 Corn Crisp Crackers Jane Kinderlehrer 1 c stone ground corn meal 1/2 tsp powdered kelp 1 T oil 7/8 c boiling water Combine all ingredients. Make balls using one T mixture for each. Place on an oiled baking sheet or a baking stone. Pat or mash into three inch rounds. Bake in a hot oven (400 degrees) for 30 minutes. Makes 2 dozen. BL's notes: If you prefer not to fuss with these rounds, place a mound of dough between two sheets of wax paper or parchment paper. Roll out to a size to fit the cookie sheet. If using parchment transfer the bottom sheet along with the cracker dough onto the cookie sheet. If using wax paper be sure to remove it.
