Guest guest
Hello, you guys and thanks so much for the warm welcome! I just tried some scones made with Bob's Red Mill Sorghum flour and we all enjoyed them very, very much. So, I'll have to try the GF flour mix, sounds great. Thanks so much for the suggestions, everyone. The allergy support groups for kids sounds really neat too. It's nice to know that others are finding the same things out about their kids and going the same direction. Because we have not ever had anyone " professional " look at my son, sometimes my husband wonders whether or not this is all true about him, but I have a " knowing " about it! You know? And then, let us give him some white flour for two days in a row or let him have the combo of that along with sugar (doughnuts or something) and voila, the poor little guy is just beside himself and crying and whining and really, REALLY can't control himself at all. It's really like night and day. So, thankfully, we just don't let it happen often. I know a lady whose son is about 13 or so now and fullblown autistic and they've have spent boucous of money, tons, on having him tested and tested, etc. and it all came down to a wheat allergy. She was so angry at the " medical community " and about all the money she knew they'd wasted. I know lots of folks have been through this. Gee, if I'm not downright " chatty " tonight! Sorry! Anyway, to wrap up here... I am so very, very grateful that I know the Lord just showed me what the problem/s were with my little guy. I prayed and prayed over that sweet little one and I'm very grateful to know what's going on with him, you know? Anyway, thanks again for the welcome. I won't be able to be around a whole lot, but I appreciate being here and will check in every two or three days... all of these recipes are absolutely wonderful! Warmly, Kimberly from GA
Guest guest
Welcome Kimberly, I'm relatively new here too. I probably joined a couple months ago, but I find the information invaluable, and the other members more then helpful. Judy
