Guest guest Posted July 1, 2003 Report Share Posted July 1, 2003 Beany Herb Pate' 1 - 15 oz. can beans of choice 1 clove garlic, minced 2 Tbsp. lemon juice Pinch of cayenne Salt 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped 1 Tbsp. olive oil Paprika to garnish Drain beans and reserve liquid. In a food processor, blend beans. Add garlic, lemon juice, cayenne, and salt. Blend again, using some of the reserved bean liquid to thin mixture until a smooth consistency is achieved. Remove from food processor and stir in herbs. Drizzle olive oil over the top and garnish with paprika. Serve as a dip for raw vegetables or as a sandwich spread. Enjoy!
