Guest guest Posted June 23, 2003 Report Share Posted June 23, 2003 Fresh Fruit Pie Source: The Weimar Cookbook --- vintage edition Fresh or frozen pitted cherries or strawberries 2 cups fruit juice 2 Tbsp. arrowroot or cornstarch 1/4 cup water Fill baked pie shell with fruit. In a saucepan, bring juice to boil. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with water. Cook 5 minutes and pour over fruit. When cool, serve with cashew cream.
