Guest guest Posted June 23, 2003 Report Share Posted June 23, 2003 Apple Pie Filling Source: The Weimar Cookbook - vintage edition 8 apples 2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup dates, chopped 1/2 Tbsp. coriander 1/2 tsp. anise Pinch of salt Peel and core apples. Cook with raisins and dates until tender. Add other ingredients. Stir and cook until clear. Pour into baked pie shell of choice. Chill. Serve with your favorite whipped topping and enjoy!
