Dear Anne!

I do not really know how long you will Backpacking and what your favourite

food is, as well what you used to take with you before. But here are some

things I always take with me:

- Rice Crackers (keep them in a plastic bag, to keep them fresh and crispy)

- Mini-Cans with Corn, Peas, Salads.....

- Cheese (I don't know if you eat that - I'm just gf) in this little plastic

packages

- Fruits like apples and oranges (stay fresh a long time)

- Vegetables like carrots, potatoes (make a good dish when you wrap them

with foil and put them into the fire), radish...

- also very tasty and good for your energy are dried fruits, nuts,... maybe

a fruit-nut mix or different seeds like sunflower cores, pumpkin cores,

piniel seeds,....

-also take a salt and herb mix with you to pepper everything

-why not tofu and all the things you like in a tupperware pot?

-normally there are also many tasty cookies available in Health Food stores

(eg.Wholefoods) and fruitbars, or nutbars (made out of hoeny and nuts and

seeds)

That are my ideas for the moment, hope it helped you a little. Have a nice

trip and enjoy your food!

Greetings Sue
