Guest guest
My kids loved these so I thought that I'd post the recpie. A loose interpretation of a recipe in Vegan Cooking for Everyone 1 can kidney beans rinsed and drained 1/4 ish cup quinoa flakes 1T bragg's oil pizza sauce grated vegan cheddar cheese Smash the kidney beans your hands (I have good little helpers that like to do this part for me), then add the quinoa flakes and the braggs and when it seems a good consistency to hold together, form them into 4 patties. Pan fry them in olive oil. I used a heat that was hot at first to brown then I turned it down a little. I had to watch them carefully because the oil got absorbed quickly and I had to keep adding more so that they didn't burn. Then when they were hot throughout and browned (somewhat blackened) I put them on plates and topped them with pizza sauce and grated cheddar vegan cheese. They were so good that I had to eat two. My kids are pretty particular and they loved them. If you had a good bun recipe, that might be nice, but we just cut them into pieces and ate them like that.
