Michelle,

I have no idea, as I've never made it without. I guess you could try it by

substituting whatever spices you like instead of the onion and garlic, and maybe

add a little more dill weed. I think it would be OK. I'm a big fan of onion

and garlic, and everybody eats them here. Sorry I'm not more help.

In Blender:

1/2 c Cold water

1/3 c + 1 rounded Tbsp. Emes vegan gelatin.

 

Blend together.

 

Add in:

1/3 c Sesame Butter (Tahini)

1/4 c lemon juice

1/4 c brewer's yeast

1/4 t garlic powder

2 1/2 t salt

1 T onion powder

1/2 t dill weed

 

Add In: 2 c of hot cooked yellow cornmeal.

 

Blend until mixture is smooth. Pour into sprayed 4 " x 6 " mold. Chill. Slices

nicely with a cheese cutter.

This is great served with crackers.

I may try the recipe one of these days...everyone else in my family can eat

onions/garlic (except my nursing baby). I used to cook with it daily, but

onions now make me violently ill.
