Guest guest Posted March 23, 2003 Report Share Posted March 23, 2003 Scrambled Tofu Source: The Best of Silver Hills 1 lb. medium tofu 2 Tbsp. chicken-style seasoning 1/4 tsp. turmeric (optional) 1/4 tsp. onion powder salt to taste Crumble tofu into a non-stick skilelt. Add seasonings. Some brands of chicken-style seasoning are stronger than others. Do a taste test before you add the second tablespoon. Cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes or until crispy brown. Stir occasionally while cooking. Serve on toast with vegan Baco Bits and green onion. *Watch out for " natural flavorings " in Bacon Bits. Even some imitation ones have it and they are the " real thing " , not vegan!
