Guest guest Posted March 5, 2003 Report Share Posted March 5, 2003 Bean Sprout Salad ( Kong Namul Sangchea) Source: Flavors of Korea, Delicious Vegetarian Cuisine We had this tonight and it was very good! This is such a quick and easy side dish, with great flavor and few calories 1/2 pound fresh soybean sprouts ( we used mung bean) 4 cups boiling water 1 TBS vinegar ( used rice vinegar) 1TBS sugar 1tsp sesame oil 1tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp salt 1) In a large pan, boil the beans sprouts int he water until pliable but crisp, about 1 minute. Drain and rinse under cold water. 2) In a small bowl mix together the remaning ingredients. pour this mixture over bean sprouts, and gently mix. 3) Marinate 1 hour in the refrigerator before serving.
