Basic Pie Crust

Source: NEWSTART Lifestyle Cookbook

 

3/4 cup brown rice flour

1/3 cup almond or cashew butter

1/3 tsp. salt

3 Tbsp. water

 

Mix first 3 ingredeints thoroughly. Add water and mix well. Form

into a ball and roll between two layers of plastic wrap. Place in an

ungreased 9 " pie plate. Prick with fork and bake at 350° until

lightly browned. Suitable for both sweet and savory fillings.

 

Serves: 1 pie crust

 

Calories: 104 per serving (serves 8)

Fat: 6.4 grams
