Guest guest Posted January 30, 2003 Report Share Posted January 30, 2003 Linda's Tasty Tomato Soup Source: 3ABN Catch the Vision/Linda Shelton 1 quart tomatoes 1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 cup hot water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano 3/4 cup cashews 1 onion 1 cup tomatoes, chopped 1/2 cup black olives, chopped Puree the quart of tomatoes and the tomato paste in a blender. Pour into a large soup kettle. Puree hot water, salt, oregano, cashews, and onion and pout into soup kettle. Cook uncovered on medium-lowheat until hot, but not boiling. Remove from heat, then add tomatoes and olives. Cover and set aside about 10 minutes.
