Sweet and Sour Stewed Baby Onions

Source: Culinary DeLights/Blue Mt. TV

 

1 lb. baby onions, peeled

Juice of one lemon

1/8 cup de-alcoholized white wine (or alternative)

3 Tbsp. olive oil

3 Tbsp. sugar

3 Tbsp. tomato paste

1 bay leaf

2 parsley sprigs

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 tsp. salt

 

Put all ingredients in a small sauce pan and simmer gently, uncovered for 45

minutes.
