TV 2 cups Black-eyed Peas (pre-soaked) 6 cups water 3 Tbsp. beef-style flavored seasoning 1 tsp. liquid smoke 2 tsp. salt 2 cloves garlic, chopped 2 cups chopped onion 1 cup chopped green pepper 1 bay leaf Combine in large pot and simmer, uncovered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
