I am still looking, but the above site is a good one for categorizing foods according to botanical family. >BL That is a nice site! I see they have all the beans/peas/lentils listed as " legumes " . The impression I have always had is that the word " pulses " is just the British expression for " legumes " , kind of like how they call eggplant " aubergine " ... just different names for the same thing.
