Television 6 cups water 2 tsp. olive oil 1 cup lentils 3 large cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. Vegex (or other beef-style seasoning) 1 1/4 tsp. cumin 1 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1/2 tsp. paprika dash cayenne pepper, optional 3 sprigs fresh cilantro Boil water and olive oil. Add lentils. Add garlic, Vegex, cumin, coriander, salt, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Simmer, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Add cilantro just before serving. Serve in a bread bowl or with favorite bread.
