Guest guest Posted December 31, 2002 Report Share Posted December 31, 2002 Millet Pudding Source: Healthy Food Choices 4 cups cooked millet (1 cup before cooking) 1/2 cup raisins 1 Tbsp. freshly grated orange rind 1/4 cup slivered almonds or raw cashews 1/3 cup dates (softened in part of water) 4 cups water 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. maple flavouring Place millet, raisins, and orange rind in bowl. Whiz almonds or cashews in blender or food processor until smooth paste. Add remaining ingredients and b lend until smooth. Pour over ingredients in bowl. Mix well. Place in baking dish.
