Got it for US $7.50 at Waldenbooks. plantain: Freda's raw 3 ounces cal 100 protein 1.0 27.0 carbs sodium, fat chol 0 fiber 2.0 -------------------------------- 1/2 cup raw, sliced: cal 91 protein 1.0 carbs 23.6 fat .3 chol 0 sod 3 fiber 1.7 Don't ask me why the fat and sodium increase when it's sliced. I wrote exactly what I saw in the book. Perhaps the top count includes the peel, and when that's taken off, the fat is no longer negligible.
