Holiday Loaf

Source: Cooking with Natural Foods II

 

1 cup water

1/4 cup garbanzos, soaked several hours or overnight

 

In dry blender chop:

 

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

 

Drain soaked garbanzos, blenderize with 1/2 cup water. Combine the above in

mixing bowl with:

 

1 1/2 cup water

1 onion, chopped

1 cup oatmeal (or quinoa flakes if gf)

1 cup seasoned dry crumbs (if necessary gf cracker or bread)

1 Tbsp. chicken-like seasoning

1 tsp. marjoram

1 tsp. salt

 

Press into prepared Pyrex loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes.
