Guest guest Posted December 6, 2002 Report Share Posted December 6, 2002 Millet Balls Gourmet Source: Cooking with Natural Foods II Soak 2/3 cup raw soybeans overnight in about 3 cups water. Drain soaked soybeans and whiz in blender: 2 cups soaked soybeans 1/2 cup water 1 medium onion Combine above mixture with: 1 1/2 cups cooked millet 1/2 cup slivered almonds 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs (gluten free if necessary) 1/2 tsp. salt Let stand 5 - 10 minutes, form into balls. Roll in 1/2 cup seasoned crumbs. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet or line pan with liner paper. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes. Serve with tomato sauce if desired.
