Guest guest Posted December 6, 2002 Report Share Posted December 6, 2002 Millet Balls Source: Cooking with Natural Foods II 2/3 cup dry soy beans (2 cups soaked) Grind or blend with onions 1/4 cup sunflower seeds --- coarse ground 1 1/2 cups cooked millet (1/2 cup cooked 1 hr. in 2 cups water with 1/2 tsp. salt) 1/4 cup chopped brazil nuts 1 cup dry bread crumbs (whole grain/gf if necessary) 1/2 large onion(s), ground or blended 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs or creeal crumbs (gf if necessary) 1/2 tsp. paprika Combine all exept last two ingredients. Let stand 5 - 10 minutes. Form into balls. Roll in crumbs and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes.
