Guest guest Posted December 3, 2002 Report Share Posted December 3, 2002 Tamale Pie Source: Cooking with the Benton Sister's Vol. II 1 (12 oz.) can stewed red ripe tomatoes (or 3 cups) 3 1/2 cups water 3 cups corn meal 1 1/2 cups bell peppers, diced small 2 tsp. fresh minced garlic 2 tsp. salt 1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn 1 ( 6 oz.) can olives, sliced 1 large onion, minced Heat preceding ingredients on stove until thick, then pour mixture in a 14 x 9 inch sprayed baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 60 minutes.
