Guest guest Posted December 3, 2002 Report Share Posted December 3, 2002 Spanish Rice Source: Cooking with the Benton Sister's Vol. II 3 cups brown rice 2 Tbsp. wild rice 6 cups water 2 Tbsp. parsley 2 Tbsp. basil 2 Tbsp. garlic 4 Tbsp. McKay's chicken-style seasoning 6 cups spaghetti sauce (your choice) 1/2 cup celery 1 can olives, sliced 1 medium onion, minced Bring water to a boil in skillet. Add rice with parsley, basil, garlic, and chicken-style seasonings. Add spaghetti sauce when water is soaked up. When rice is almost done, add olives, celery, and minced onions.
