Guest guest Posted December 2, 2002 Report Share Posted December 2, 2002 Date Butter Source: Cooking with the Benton Sister's Vol. II 1 cup corn meal mush 1/4 cup boiling water 1/2 cup cashews (raw) 1 tsp. butter flavoring 1/3 cup coconut milk 3/4 tsp. salt or butter salt (non dairy) 1 cup date pieces, rolled in flour 1/2 cup water Cook 1/3 cup corn meal with 1 cup water until very thick and add to the blender with the cashews. Now add other ingredients and thoroughly blend all together until smooth.
