Guest guest
Cashew Gravy Source: The Foster's Favorites ***The author of this cookbook is a teen-age girl named Jodi. I enjoyed meeting her this past summer. She attended a picnic with our extended family. She wrote " Foster's Favorites " , a vegan cookbook, as a homeschool English project. 2 1/2 cups hot water 1/2 cup raw cashews, cleaned and washed 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. onion granules 1 - 2 Tbsp. arrowroot 1 Tbsp. Bragg's Liquid Aminos (soy) 1 Tbsp. chicken-style seasoning 1/4 cup parsley flakes 1/2 onion Combine all ingredients except parsley and blend until smooth. Add parsley and blend just enough to mix. Pour in pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened. (Cashews and arrowroot both thicken when cooked). ***Garlic powder is a great addition to this recipe. http://www.Christian-Vegan-Cooking http://www. http://www.VintageVeganTea http://www.VeganMenus4HealthyLiving http://www.AllNaturalSweetenerRecipes
