Guest guest Posted November 28, 2002 Report Share Posted November 28, 2002 Cashew-Flour Gravy 1/2 cup garbanzo flour 1/2 cup cashews 4 cups water, cold Gring cashews. Mix with flour. Brown lightly on a dry skillet on low heat to enhance flavor. Blend the flour and cashews with 2 cups of cold water until very smooth. Mix with an additional 2 cups of cold water. Stir and heat slowly. Simmer until thickened. Add more water if too thick. Season to taste with onion powder, garlic powder, and/or yeast extracts.
